1530 Racepath Avenue, Conway SC 29526

All members of the congregation were given a paper dress to wear. The church celebrated a moment in Black History utilizing a Heart Attack Survivor their guest presenter and a Stroke (TIA) survivor. Survivors shared their personal story to the congregation during church service. Afterwards their Health ministry team, under the direction of Ms. Shiraid Norman, checked blood pressure of the congregation. Of the 30 + that were checked, 16 had an elevated blood pressure. The team provided counseled for those with elevated pressures and made referrals their doctors. Participants encouraged to know their numbers and /or to remember to take their bllod pressure meds daily and on time... As a reward for getting checked, the Red Dress pins were issued. Fresh fruits and veggies were served with light ranch dressing.
