Where Do I Begin?
The Health Needs Assessment Survey is your gauge to help you determine the needs of your congregations. Always start here. Let your congregation tell you their needs, then add programs as the ministry grows.
What Resources Are Availiable?
The Statewide Health Commission Plan Guide has a resource section toward
the back and the resource map has a listing of services by counties.
When Are The Reports Due?
The Health Directors report is due every month. The Local Health
Directors reports are due to the District Health Director by the
10th of each month to reflect the previous months activity. The District
Health Directors report is due the 15th of each month to the Annual
Conference Health Director. The Annual Conference Health Directors
Report is due 20th of the month to the Episcopal Director of Health.

Local Health Resources
The Local Health Resources section has been created to provide information
of available health access services and programs.
Parish Nursing
Parish Nursing is a unique, specialized practice of professional nursing.
The parish nurse focuses on the promotion of health within the context
of the values, beliefs, and practices of a faith community, such as a
church, synagogue, or mosque. "Parish nurses are called by their faith
communities to be 'ministers of health,' promoting health and healing
